Useful information and FAQ on dental implants, teeth-in-an-hour, veneers, teeth whitening, crowns, oral surgery, gum problems, root canals, TMJ disorders and orthodontics (braces). Site also has articles on oral cancer, dental implants, dental tourism, tooth loss in children, TMJ disorders, etc. Articles are in English, Chinese and Indonesian languages. Links to other Singapore medical specialist sites and healthcare sites.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To provide information about our dental services, dental specialists and their experience/training to existing and potential patients. To enable communication between our clinic and patients through availability of online appointment booking requests and online enquiries. To update existing patients and friends on developments in dentistry and in our dental team's professional and community activities.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The first website was launched in late 2005/early 2006. The second website was launched in March 2008. Both are related to dental services.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
In accordance with our branding and corporate name.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
It is more interactive, and also serves as an outlet to provide useful information about the various dental procedures, and topics in dentistry of interest to consumers
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To use the website as an additional medium of communication between our patients (many of whom are international patients) and our clinic.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It is a lot of work but lots of fun, nonetheless!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
We would like to think so.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We will continue to maintain the website as a service to our patients and the community at large.
